Easter Monday Run April 2017

The Morris Minor Owners Club Northern Ireland had another great start to the season with our Easter Monday run attracting 49 cars and over 100 people. We began the day at Quinn’s Corner outside Dungannon where everyone received their buffet breakfast.

This gave everyone a good opportunity to catch up with one another after the Winter break. After a short while we made our way to Des Ballantine’s collection of parts, memorabilia, cars and tractors. His collection was amazing and everyone really enjoyed looking around and seeing things they probably haven’t found in a garage in quite a while.

As an Easter treat each car received an Easter egg and some Creme Eggs. After a lunch break we left and made our way back to Quinn’s Corner, taking a rather scenic route. We tackled some mighty hills and experienced some amazing views.

We then arrived back at Quinn’s Corner for our evening meal. Noel Graham was the winner of our Easter Bonnet Competition which was picked by a staff member at the restaurant.

Overall it was a really enjoyable day for everyone and a great way to start the season.

Thanks to Kenny, Becca, David and Geoffrey for organising.
