As some of you may know, the Morris Minor Owners Club Northern Ireland definitely love their food. So, on the cold evening of 5th September 2015, a number of members headed off to get some ice cream to warm themselves up.
From 7.00pm, we gathered at Carrickfergus Castle car park – there were a number of our regular cars out with a few new members and some new faces too. Around 7:30pm, we began our journey to The Rhinka in Islandmagee.
With a couple of catch up points everyone stayed in good distance between the car in front and behind. We have a short drive through the countryside and passed the new Gobbins Centre. Just before 8:30pm we arrived at The Rhinka.
Even though it was a very chilly night we had about 45 people and 18 classic cars turn up; we never expected this amount of people so we’re really pleased with how it went.
Thanks to Kenny & Becca McIlroy for organising this year’s annual Ice Cream Run.
