On Thursday 30th of June 2016, eleven minors and their passengers boarded the Belfast to Birkenhead boat to attend the MMOC National Rally at Catton Hall in Derbyshire.
Just like every year this show did not disappoint. This year we had 10 Minors on our club stand and we gathered a lot of interest. The biggest bonus was that the weather was pretty kind to us throughout the weekend.
There were a couple of breakdowns along the way (including a blown headgasket) which were all ironed out quickly with our knowledgeable team and good spares (from my boot).
I completed the 290 miles trouble free thankfully. And everyone had a brilliant time. On the way back to Birkenhead on Monday the 4th of July, we all visited the national arboretum memorial and we laid a wreath to remember all who served or gave their lives in all wars.
