Morris Minor UK Update (28th March 2020)

MMOC – Coronavirus Update

Dear Member,

Keeping you and your family safe and well is, and always will be, our first priority. We’ve been dedicated to our members’ needs for over 40 years and as Club and we need you more than ever, to support us and each other in this difficult time. The MMOC website and Facebook page will be updated regularly with further information and we’ll be in regular contact throughout this daunting period.

We’ll bring you news, content and suggestions for how we can all share our passion for the Morris Minor to hopefully lift our collective spirits during, what is likely to be an extended period. Most of all, we are greatly looking forward to the day that we can plan a season of events where, as members of the MMOC, we can enjoy time with family and friends in our Morris Minors’ countryside.

Our Editor, the editorial team and contributors are continuing to work to produce the forthcoming issues of Minor Matters and we are working with our partners at Lavenham Press with the intention of printing and distributing the magazine as normal. They, like us, are continuing to work within the guidelines as issued by Government and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

In the event of further restrictions, which may impact on our club plans and events, we will update and advise accordingly via email, Social media and the club website. Should you have any articles for inclusion in the magazine can we suggest that you send them to the editor directly.

Until we are in a position to continue our club life altogether and in the outdoors, please note that the NHS website is the best source of information to keep you abreast of the COVID19 coronavirus and what you can do to prevent its spread to keep you and your family members safe.

Please ensure that you keep updated regularly as information is coming to light each and every day.We have attached a recent statement from the Directors regarding key club events over the next 3 to 4 months. The office will be closed until further notice, but staff will be working from home between the normal hours 9am to 3pm and may be contacted by telephone on 07814 105738 or email [email protected]

Thank you for your understanding, stay safe and my best wishes to you all.
