Over 30 classic cars and 60 people attended the End of Season Run on the 5th October 2019. It was a great day out for all. As usual the breakfast was excellent at Redz Restaurant and we finished there for a four course tea. The run to Whitehead train Museum was great though the weather
On 28th September 2019 the Morris Minor Owners Club visited Kilbroney Vintage Show which was postponed from June. Thankfully the weather was much better with the rain mostly staying away. This was another great opportunity to meet old and new friends. We even had visitors over from England and they were made very welcome.
We met early in September for the annual Fish and Chip Run at Dundonald Omniplex. It was a great opportunity to have a chat amongst the cars and catch up with old and new friends. Stephen Gordon had organised a great run to McBride’s in the square for fish and chips, tea bread and butter.
We met on Saturday 19th August 2019 for our Regional Rally. This was open as usual to all clubs. There was a great turn out from all. We met at St. Paul’s Church, Lisburn for a superb cooked breakfast provided by the Church catering group. A short distance from St. Paul’s was our next stop
The Morris Minor Owners Club Northern Ireland were invited by Ards and North Down Borough Council to join the MG Owners’ Club Northern Ireland to park on the pier on the 8th August 2019. This is a very popular event and is part of Donaghadee Festival. It was a great night’s Craic and the sunset
We had a great turnout of club cars at Shane’s Castle during the May Bank Holiday. The weather was superb and the sights of steam engines, cars and attractions was well worth going for. This is a regular event and is always well supported.
The Morris Minor Owners Club met on Easter Monday 2019 for the annual Easter Monday Run which is open to all AOVC car clubs. This was a very well supported event with over 50 cars attending.
