Regional Rally August 2019
We met on Saturday 19th August 2019 for our Regional Rally. This was open as usual to all clubs. There was a great turn out from all. We met at St. Paul’s Church, Lisburn for a superb cooked breakfast provided by the Church catering group.
A short distance from St. Paul’s was our next stop at the Ulster Aviation Society, Maze. We had a great visit and were made to feel welcome. The tour of hangers and aircraft exceeded our expectations and would encourage us to return.
After lunch there we travelled through the beautiful countryside to Ulster Grand Prix pits for a look around and to hear the history of the track. To get to the pits we had of course to have a run round the circuit. A bit slower than Hickman!!
The weather was fantastic all day and we finished off in the Ballymac Hotel, Lisburn for another superb meal. Everyone is already looking forward to the next run!
